Camera
Depending on the configuration, the Walkera QR X350PRO quadcopter can be equipped with a top-end camera – Walkera iLook + FPV with a built-in 5.8GHz FPV module. Allows you to simultaneously take photos / videos, as well as broadcast a video stream in real time without delay. Max. photo resolution: 4032 × 3024 JPEG. Max. video resolution: 1920 × 1080p at 30fps. The quality of the footage is commendable. For realizing first-person flight, it supports pairing with most analog FPV devices, including the famous FatShark FPV goggles.

By default, the quadcopter is equipped with a 3-cell lithium-polymer battery 11.1V 5200mAh 25C (for the previous version, the battery capacity is 2200mAh). According to the specification, it provides a maximum flight time of 25 minutes. In the test with a mixed style of piloting with the camera turned on, this time was no more than 18 minutes. Charging time from the included charger is 5-7 hours.
Due to the fact that some users state the fact of recharging the battery with a complete charger. For safety reasons, it is recommended that you refuse to use the stock charger and charge the battery using proven devices, such as “iMax B6-AC”, etc. Recall that even an insignificant overcharge of LiPo batteries leads to at least a malfunction and, at a maximum, to ignition!
Control
Quadcopter Walkera QR X350PRO can be equipped with four types of control equipment. They provide the maximum range of controlled flight, including from the first person from 1-2 km.

Flight modes
By default, the Walkera QR X350PRO quadcopter received three programmed flight modes:
- GPS – suitable for large-scale shooting. In this mode, the electronics noticeably limits the angles of inclination and the dynamics of the quad as a whole. The drone becomes more calm. Using the GPS module, it allows you to maintain a position in accordance with the current coordinates without the participation of the pilot.
- Altitude – suitable for dynamic flights in the “Gas to the floor” mode. Electronics fully reveals the potential of the quadrocopter. By means of a barometric sensor, it allows you to hold the altitude horizontally. The pilot also needs to control the horizontal displacement of the drone, which can occur, for example, due to gusts of wind.
- RTH (return home) – the classic mode of return to the take-off point. It is activated by the pilot from the toggle switch on the control equipment, or it is activated automatically when communication is lost or when the battery is low, followed by automatic landing.
Note the fact that in RTH mode the drone returns to the takeoff site and performs auto-landing with an error of 1.5 – 3m. It is worth considering this, otherwise the pilot risks dropping the quadcopter!
Waypoint flight
The Walkera QR X350PRO quadcopter can fly waypoints using the pre-installed MissionPlanner software.
Test Drive
In the Walkera QR X350PRO test, it showed confident traction typical of budget brushless drones. He especially showed himself in Altitude mode. The control is stable, I didn’t have to get used to it, the work of the 6-axis gyroscope and electronics in general affects. In windy weather, flight qualities deteriorate significantly, the bulkiness of the structure affects.
