Ukrainian Volunteers Have Developed the Kanyuk Attack Drone With a Flight Range of 70 Km

Volunteer engineers have developed an aircraft-type attack drone at the request of the Armed Forces of Ukraine «Buzzard». It is launched from a catapult, has a flight speed of up to 300 km/h, and carries a large mass of charge over a distance of up to 70 km.

Engineers have developed a drone «from scratch». During creation, we watched a video in the public domain and studied the inside of the Russian drone «Orlan», which was landed by Ukrainian soldiers and handed over to volunteers. The drone passed combat testing already at the front.

One of the developers of the drone, Andrei Bryukhanov, said that the UAV is launched from a catapult and is guided by an operator using a camera and control devices. At the time of the attack, the drone can accelerate to 300 km/h and carries an RPG charge. Attack drone «Buzzard» weighs up to 12 kg.

“Pdrone advantage «Buzzard» – it’s speed and range. Compared to, for example, small drones, it can carry a larger charge mass»noted the developer.
