The Protector RS2 Remotely Controlled Weapon Station Is Designed for Reconnaissance and Counter-Drone Operations.

Polaris, known for its innovative developments in the field of military equipment, introduced the Kongsberg Protector RS2 combat module, which will become a new high-precision and effective alternative to outdated weapons systems.

The remotely controlled weapon station is designed to meet the needs of modern military tactics, providing responsiveness and reliability in a variety of combat environments. Particularly interesting is its ability to effectively combat unmanned aerial vehicles, which makes it an indispensable tool in modern combat operations.

The Protector RS2 combat module is a compact and versatile turret capable of being mounted on a variety of wheeled, tracked or stationary platforms. This provides the military with high flexibility and adaptability when choosing a vehicle to install the module.

One of the main advantages of the Protector RS2 is its ability to be equipped with various types of weapons. 12.7 mm machine guns, such as the Browning M2, can be attached to the module platform to destroy armored vehicles and other targets at significant distances. If there is a need to reduce weight and increase mobility, 7.62 mm machine guns such as the M240 can be installed. This allows you to optimize weapons depending on the specific tactical situation.

To ensure maximum efficiency in reconnaissance and countering drones, various optical equipment can be installed on the Protector RS2 combat module. Options include both day and night vision, including thermal imaging sights. This allows the operator to receive a full image in real time and control shooting with high accuracy and range. Thanks to the use of advanced optical systems, Protector RS2 provides maximum visibility even in low visibility conditions or night operations.

The advantage of the Protector RS2 combat module is its remote control. The operator has the ability to control the turret and fire using a ground station or a wireless remote control. This allows the operator to remain at a safe distance from combat, which is an important aspect in modern military tactics. Thanks to reliable communications and real-time data transmission, the operator has full control over the module and can quickly make decisions based on the current situation on the battlefield.
