Preliminary 3D visualization

In the video above, Ryan Quellet shared a 3D model of Divimath’s forthcoming HDZero digital video receiver for FatShark goggles with the community, and commented on a number of key features of the upcoming product.

Peculiarities

As you can see, the presented 3D model has 4 SMA antenna connectors (instead of 2), there are no built-in patch antennas, but it is possible to install your own using a rail-type connection dedicated for them. The built-in DVR includes a clock for time stamping of video recordings, and it is also noted that the video receiver will be equipped with a microphone for recording voice / sound!

Compromises

Due to the difficulties associated with the lack of chips, the developer was forced to switch to an FPGA processor with a higher power consumption (11 W instead of 7 W), which predetermined the installation of a more powerful fan. As a result, the case became 2 mm thicker, the width and height remained unchanged. The ExpressLRS Backpack connector allows you to access video settings from the remote control.
