Quad­copter Syma X13 Storm is equipped with col­lec­tor motors, torque trans­mis­sion is car­ried out through a gear­box. The devel­op­er does not spec­i­fy infor­ma­tion about per­for­mance. To imple­ment the tasks, the poten­tial of the motors is quite enough.

Battery

The quad­copter comes with a 3.7V 200mAh LiPo lithi­um poly­mer bat­tery. In the test, it pro­vid­ed a max­i­mum flight time of 6 min­utes. Bat­tery charg­ing time is less than an hour.

Control

The X13 Storm comes with one of the most con­ve­nient 4‑channel remotes, oper­at­ing at a fre­quen­cy of 2.4GHz. Pow­er is sup­plied from 4 × 1.5V AA bat­ter­ies (pur­chased sep­a­rate­ly). In prac­tice, in a zone free from inter­fer­ence, it pro­vid­ed the max­i­mum dis­tance of removal — 60 meters. When the sig­nal is lost, the drone crash­es!

Test Drive

In the test, the Syma X13 Storm quad­copter showed dynam­ics char­ac­ter­is­tic of bud­get drones. Note the work of the 6‑axis gyro­scope, its par­tic­i­pa­tion great­ly sim­pli­fies the con­trol of the drone, begin­ners will appre­ci­ate it.
