Quadcopter Syma X13 Storm is equipped with collector motors, torque transmission is carried out through a gearbox. The developer does not specify information about performance. To implement the tasks, the potential of the motors is quite enough.
The quadcopter comes with a 3.7V 200mAh LiPo lithium polymer battery. In the test, it provided a maximum flight time of 6 minutes. Battery charging time is less than an hour.
The X13 Storm comes with one of the most convenient 4‑channel remotes, operating at a frequency of 2.4GHz. Power is supplied from 4 × 1.5V AA batteries (purchased separately). In practice, in a zone free from interference, it provided the maximum distance of removal — 60 meters. When the signal is lost, the drone crashes!
In the test, the Syma X13 Storm quadcopter showed dynamics characteristic of budget drones. Note the work of the 6‑axis gyroscope, its participation greatly simplifies the control of the drone, beginners will appreciate it. Headless mode, flips and return home worked without comment.
