Red Cat Holdings Subsidiary Fat Shark Prepares to Release Innovative Dominator FPV Goggles

Red Cat, which is known to have acquired hob­by-famous FPV gog­gle mak­er Fat­Shark, has announced via a Globe­Newswire mes­sage paired with a teas­er image that it will soon be announc­ing a new prod­uct called the Dom­i­na­tor, a low-laten­cy, 1080p, zoomed-in dig­i­tal FPV gog­gle. flight range com­pared to exist­ing sys­tems. The teas­er is accom­pa­nied by the call “The Dom­i­na­tor is Back”, the date of the announce­ment “Com­ing this Fri­day”, and the words “First look and Fly Ses­sion at”, which implies that this Fri­day the old for­got­ten series of Dom­i­na­tor FPV gog­gles will return with a new more pow­er­ful poten­tial.

For ref­er­ence: Dom­i­na­tor is the name of a prod­uct line intro­duced by Fat­Shark a few years ago: Dom­i­na­tor V2, Dom­i­na­tor V3, Dom­i­na­tor HD0, Dom­i­na­tor HD02.

Where will the first demonstration take place?

Accord­ing to the announce­ment, the first pub­lic demon­stra­tion of the Dom­i­na­tor will take place at the Rotor Riot RAMPAGE 2022 in Barn­well, South Car­oli­na from May 14–16, 2022. Rotor Riot RAMPAGE 2022 is an excit­ing week­end fes­ti­val across 303 hectares with freestyle drone fly­ing as its main theme. Famous drone pilots such as Le Drib, Bub­by FPV, Vort3x, Nurk and oth­ers will take part in it.

Price and availability

Noth­ing is known about the price yet, but the devel­op­er gave a few words about the avail­abil­i­ty: “The Dom­i­na­tor head­sets and sys­tems will be avail­able for pre-orders in the near future, with deliv­er­ies expect­ed in June.”
