Another version of a well-executed racing micro drone, which, in our opinion, is worth paying attention to if you are just starting to explore the UAV racing niche, or are looking for a high-quality and powerful solution for working out the already gained piloting experience at times when, for example, the weather is bad outside . The SPC Maker Mini Whale (HD) is a well-tuned racing micro drone from a well-known hobbyist developer built on a 78mm carbon fiber frame with powertrain ring protection allowing the drone to be safely operated even indoors with people.

Model 2019. It is implemented by the developer in two versions: with a regular RunCam Robin FPV camera (for the SPC Maker Mini Whale model) and a hybrid RunCam Split Mini 2 (for the SPC Maker Mini Whale HD model) that allows you to simultaneously act as an onboard FPV WDR camera and provide high-quality FHD at 60 frame/s shooting with recording on a pre-installed microSD card. Otherwise, both quadrics are identical. Since the release, both versions have proven themselves exceptionally well, but the version with a hybrid camera has received the most popularity.
