Parrot slowly but surely continues to develop not only in the domestic segment of drones, but also in the commercial one. More recently, the developer presented two unmanned solutions at once, the task of which, in addition to aerial photography, includes more serious tasks – these are the Bebop-Pro Thermo and Parrot Bluegrass drones.
This is an updated version of the already well-known Bebop 2 drone. In addition to the basic 14MP camera, the drone is equipped with a thermal imaging camera – Flir One Pro. The presented complex of funds, according to the developer, can be used in construction and rescue activities. The Bebop-Pro Thermo flight time is standard 25 minutes, but the kit will include three batteries at once, Skycontroller 2 control equipment, and a backpack for transportation. The whole set will cost the consumer $1400.
This is a completely new drone capable of covering 30 hectares of land on a single battery charge from a height of 70 meters. The drone is equipped with an HD camera and a special Parrot SEQUOIA multispectral sensor, thanks to which it is possible to record images of crops in various spectral ranges. The drone comes with software that allows you to autonomously carry out assigned tasks on a selected piece of land. As the developer assures, it is enough for the user to set the boundaries of the land through the software and select the type of crops grown on them, the system will do the rest on its own – but if desired, manual control is also possible. It will be available for purchase in November of this year at a price of $5,000, the price already includes a year’s access to the aforementioned software.
