Introduction
In July 2014, Cheerson introduced the first nano quadcopter, the CX-10, a compact, super lightweight drone with good stabilization. And a year later, Cheerson decided to update the model, following the fashion, they added a camera.
Drone Cheerson CX-10C received a tiny camera capable of recording video and taking photos of VGA quality: 640 × 480p pixels.
Equipment
- 1 × Cheerson CX-10C with built-in 120mAh Li-polymer battery
- 1 × transmitter with 2 × AAA batteries (not included)
- 1 × USB charger
- 1 × screwdriver
- 4 × spare propellers
- 1 × instruction
Externally, the CX-10C is no different from the CX-10, except for the battery compartment enlarged at the bottom. Its capacity was increased from 100 to 120 mAh.
The propellers haven’t changed either. Weight compared to the CX-10 has increased by 3g, which, with a total weight of 15g, is a relatively large figure for this baby.
Camera
The built-in tiny M4 VGA 640x480p format camera module did not disappoint:
- Viewing angle wide
- Color reproduction tolerable
- Fairly clear picture
- Video does not shake

transmitter
A simple tiny TX model will not be comfortable in larger hands, which is understandable – the drone is designed more for children from 8-14 years old.
Pressing the left joystick cycles through the three speed modes. Pressing the right joystick activates flips (coup) in different directions depending on the position of the stick.
Functionality
The Cheerson CX-10C quadcopter, like its predecessor, is designed for flying indoors. It will not be possible to drive wildly around the apartment on it. In this sense, it loses to the CX-10 because of the greater weight (3 grams more) and the need to additionally stabilize the camera. Flipping the CX-10C due to weight and stabilization is hard and slow with a lot of sag.
Turning on the drone, 1.25mm microJST charging socket and memory card slot:
Conclusion
Cheerson CX-10C $28

pros
- compactness
- Stabilization
- Camera in video mode
- DeviationTX support
- Flips
- Price
Minuses
- Flight time
- Battery not removable
- No microSD included
- Windy weather control
If the CX-10 is a quadcopter for fun and virtuoso flights, then the CX-10C is suitable for more measured flights with an emphasis on a working camera. Children will be happy to record their flight, and then watching to compete with each other in piloting technique. For example, they will also be interested in playing spies. Note the fact that the quadric does not like bumps and falls. Therefore, when buying, it is advisable to purchase spare rotors, this will prolong the positive emotions of the child.
