Quadmovr

Just like other hobbyists, we couldn’t get past this guy who is known in YT as Quadmovr. Why is he so famous, you ask? And Quadmovr is known for its insanely powerful racing projects built from scratch. His YT channel was registered in 2010, his motto is “Design. Build. Fly”. We are sure that some skeptics immediately thought how many such designers are in our hobby! And we will answer you how many of them managed to assemble a quad capable of developing a horizontal flight speed of 375 km/h!!! Yes, yes, you heard right, but we did not seal, here is the video:

By the way, here it would be appropriate to recall how in 2017, the guys from the DRL league built a racing drone — DRL X, through which they set a Guinness record in the maximum speed of horizontal flight — 264 km / h.

Movr4r3tp Whistle

Well, now let’s get back to the main news topic, in which we wanted to talk about a new project from Quadmovr. The Movr4r3tp Whistle is a 4″ 6S FPV drone built from the ground up, powered by four FM2004 1800KV brushless motors, working in tandem not with 4″ props, but with 3″ 5‑blade T75MMX5s from HQProp. The purpose of such a trip is explained by the fact that to maintain good flight performance and highlight a pronounced high-frequency whistle, thanks to which this quad was called the “Whistle or Whistle”. The model also received an interesting design of a fairing/canupi with LED illumination, which protects not only the electronics of the quad, but also the antenna. Look at the photos of the drone posted by Quadmovr on your Instagram account:

Basic designer preferences

We think some of you will be interested in the information affecting the main preferences of Quadmovr when choosing the main components for your projects. In the description of his YT channel, the designer noted the following:
