Introduction
Tinyhawk II is the second version of Emax’s popular racing micro drone, which received new components with more powerful potential in the course of improvements, which made the quadric interesting not only for beginners, but also for advanced pilots. Like its predecessor, it is offered in two versions, BNF (for owners of their own control equipment and FPV goggles) and RTF (for those who want everything in one package), which makes this model the best offer for a quick entry into the racing niche. As usual, let’s start with the key features.

Ideal flight characteristics
In an endless search for perfect flight performance, EMAX engineers have re-engineered the Tinyhawk platform to maximize its flight potential for confident flying both indoors and outdoors.
Improved video streaming
Through collaboration with experts from Rancam, Tinyhawk 2 was equipped with the Nano 2 FPV camera, known for its crisp colors, wide dynamic range and sharp optics. In addition, the VTX has been modified with more filters and an increase in adjustable power (25/100/200 mW), resulting in clearer video output and increased FPV distance.
Increased power
The novelty was equipped with a new more efficient power plant (7% more power compared to its predecessor), which is complemented by the 1S / 2S HV power recommended by the developer. And to take full advantage of the speed potential of the drone, the FPV camera has the ability to change the angle of inclination.
Redesigned impact resistance
With the advent of higher speeds, the frame of the Tinyhawk 2 has been strengthened to provide the necessary strength, and the design has also been updated with aerodynamic features. In addition, the quadric was equipped with an active LED backlight that reacts to the position of the throttle stick, in other words, it changes its brightness depending on the aggressiveness of the flight.
Racing Standard
The developer notes that the drone is built and tuned to racing standards, and that everyone will be able to appreciate the best flight performance in its niche.
RTF set
Despite the seriousness of the approach, the Tinyhawk II is available in an RTF package that allows a novice audience to quickly enter the racing drone niche, as it includes everything you need to realize dynamic first-person flight.
Price
Emax Tinyhawk II is sold both through branded stores and through various Internet trading platforms. The developer has set the following prices depending on the configuration:
- Tinyhawk II BNF – $109.99
- Tinyhawk II RTF – $175.99
Conclusion
Emax Tinyhawk 2 from $109.99

pros
- Quality of workmanship / BNF and RTF equipment
- Safe (frame with ring protection)
- Factory tuned to racing standard
- High performance BC motors
- 1S/2S power supply
- Controllability
- crash resistant
- FPV quality/VTX power (variable)
- For home and street
- Price
Minuses
- Not found (but you can find fault with the weight, which is too high for this model. For effective reduction, we can recommend upgrading the FPV camera to RunCam Nano 3)
Undoubtedly the best offer on the market that reveals the features of racing drones as closely as possible, allowing you to quickly and correctly develop in a hobby. Tinyhawk II will never gather dust on the shelf, as the potential of the drone is always relevant, regardless of the pilot’s level of training, which makes it one of the “long-playing” products. If you are looking for your first racing drone and want to quickly develop in this niche, or just looking for a working and inexpensive solution for practicing skills on days when it is not flying outside, then the Emax Tinyhawk II at least deserves your attention.
