

Extreme battery test
According to the author, the essence of the flight test is to see what happens with a completely new LiPo battery when continuously piloting a 6S quad in gas to floor mode. The current was limited at 180A. In defense of the battery manufacturer, he also noted that batteries from other well-known manufacturers similarly did not perform better.

The test involved one of his old high-speed quads (Setup: movr5r2 f80 2500kv 5×5 apc prop 32a kiss esc kiss fc v2), which, by the way, showed a maximum speed of 267 km / h in a flight test four years ago. For comparison, a year earlier, the guys from the world-famous DRL league built a racing drone – DRL X, through which they set a Guinness record in the maximum horizontal flight speed – 264 km / h.
