To take advan­tage of the poten­tial of the Walk­snail Avatar dig­i­tal video trans­mit­ters, the user must have Cad­dx or Fat­Shark FPV gog­gles from the same dig­i­tal FPV ecosys­tem. How­ev­er, every­thing has changed since today! It became known that a few hours ago Cad­dx announced a uni­ver­sal dig­i­tal video receiv­er adapt­ed to inter­face with any ana­log FPV gog­gles that have an HDMI con­nec­tor in their inter­face! Fat­Shark HD02 and Sky­zone own­ers get ready!

Key features

The dimen­sions of the receiv­er are 11.4 × 5.5 × 2.2 cm and weigh 83 grams. It can receive com­pressed H.265 images from Avatar HD and Avatar Mini 1S trans­mit­ters. It is equipped with 4 built-in anten­nas, two of which are direc­tion­al. Slave. fre­quen­cy range: 5.725 — 5.850 GHz.

The receiv­er can stream 1080p video at 60 fps or 720p video at 100 fps with a 22 mil­lisec­ond laten­cy. Claimed max. range up to 4 km.

It is also equipped with an HDMI out­put con­nec­tor for broad­cast­ing the sig­nal to exter­nal devices. Images can be stored on a microSD mem­o­ry card. The pow­er sup­ply must be con­nect­ed to the DC jack (DC 5.5 × 2.1 mm; 7V — 21V (2S — 5S)).
