The release of the Eachine H8 mini quadro­copter took place in the sum­mer of 2015. The pre­de­ces­sor of the H8 mini is the out­dat­ed Eachine H2 from 2014. Eachine H8 mini com­peti­tors include: Cheer­son CX-10, Cheer­son CX-10C, Floure­on H101, JJRC H20, DM003 Drone, etc.

The quad­copter is equipped with col­lec­tor motors, the poten­tial of which is quite enough for the imple­men­ta­tion of dynam­ic flights and the exe­cu­tion of pro­grammed flips.

Battery

Eachine H8 Mini comes with a 3.7V 150mAh 30C lithi­um poly­mer bat­tery. Accord­ing to the spec­i­fi­ca­tion, it pro­vides a con­tin­u­ous flight time of 5–7 min­utes. In prac­tice, the dura­tion of the flight was no more than 5 min­utes. Charges with includ­ed USB charg­er. Charg­ing time for one bat­tery is ≈ 45 min­utes.

Control

The quad­copter comes with 4‑channel con­trol equip­ment oper­at­ing at a fre­quen­cy of 2.4GHz. In an inter­fer­ence-free zone, it pro­vides a removal dis­tance of no more than 30 meters. Pow­er is sup­plied by three AAA bat­ter­ies × 1.5V.

Test Drive

In the test, the H8 Mini has estab­lished itself as a reveal­ing­ly dynam­ic quad. Due to its low weight, it does not like the wind. In the man­age­ment of sta­ble, did not have to get used to. Flips work out effort­less­ly. Head­less mode will be ful­ly appre­ci­at­ed by begin­ners.
