Later, the “Air combat” mode through IR sensors will also be used by Xiaomi, presenting the consumer with a more technologically advanced mini quadcopter – Xiaomi MiTu.

In the arsenal of the Cheerson CX-60 are collector-type motors. The developer does not disclose performance information. They work in tandem with 3-bladed rotors with a diameter of 5.5 cm. The potential of the power plant is more than enough, the drone effortlessly performs the programmed coups without failures.
The user has three modes of drone activity: 30%/60%/100%. The change in power potential is carried out in the menu of the mobile application.
Food
Both drones are equipped with a 2-cell (2S / 7.4V) lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 350mAh 2.6Wh. According to the specification, it provides a maximum flight time of 5 minutes. In practice, this time was – 6 minutes 8 seconds, which allows the pilots to conduct two full-fledged battles. 2 × USB devices are provided for battery charging. Charging time is 80 minutes.
The LED row on the back of the drone, in addition to displaying enemy hits, also serves to display the remaining battery charge.
IR sensors
Both drones have two IR sensors on board, through which the “Air Combat” mode is implemented. One infrared sensor (IR emitter) is located in the front of the drone and plays the role of a “Laser gun”, the second is located in the central upper part of the quadric and acts as an enemy “hit counter” (IR receiver).
Flight modes
There are two flight modes available in the mobile app:
- Single play – for normal solo flight.
- Double play – for the implementation of air combat.
Air combat mode
To begin with, each new user will be asked to register an account, the procedure is simple and one-time. This is done so that all future achievements and upgrades of users can be available to them at each subsequent login.
Skills
Each new day of air combat is rewarded with gold coins, which are later used to purchase advanced skills (Skills). Before starting an air battle, a pilot can buy up to 5 different skills out of 12 available. Each skill has its own advantage in combat, a description of the purpose and duration of the action is available in the skill menu.
A task
Using piloting skills, purchased skills, and a laser gun, manage to quickly hit the enemy drone with five direct hits. Each hit by the pilot/enemy is accompanied by the corresponding sound effects and displayed on the display of the paired smartphone/tablet.
Five LEDs on the back of the drone will not only indicate the remaining battery charge, but also allow the pilot to control the number of enemy hits in a timely manner.
Control
A smartphone (tablet) on IOS / Android is enough to control the drone. Pairing and interaction with the drone is implemented via Wi-Fi through the CX-60 mobile application.
