Autel announced the date of the announcement
This announcement from Autel Robotics appeared two hours ago on social media, announcing that the Autel Nano and Lite drones will be announced on September 28, 2021 at 10 am in Shenzhen, China. It looks like DJI will soon have significant competitors!
Teaser
By tradition, the announcement of the announcement is accompanied by a teaser image under the slogan: “The new realm of aerial photography | 10 am Shenzhen, China. New images
Insiders also managed to find some more new photos of Autel Nano and Lite drones, where we can see some specification of their cameras:
Autel Lite drone camera
The first photo shows an orange Autel Lite drone, on the camera lens of which you can see the following specification: sensor size 1/1.28 inch and max. aperture value f/1.9. From which it follows that the sensor size of this camera is slightly smaller than the 1-inch camera sensor of the DJI Air 2S drone.
Autel Nano Camera
The second photo shows the front of the Autel Nano drone with two front sensors of the 3-way obstacle recognition and flight system. This drone will weigh less than 250 grams and shoot 4K video on a 1/2-inch sensor with an f/2.8 aperture.
Rear end
The third photo shows us the back of the Autel Nano drone, where we can see the two rear sensors of the 3-way obstacle detection and avoidance system, the front beams in the folded position, the on / off button of the drone, four battery status LED indicators, a USB-C port and a slot under microSD card. If you look closely, you will also see another LED on the bottom of the aircraft and a black outline of what appears to be another obstacle avoidance sensor on the bottom of the aircraft.
What about Autel EVO III
According to the latest insider information, the developer is a little behind the deadlines set earlier. The announcement of the new Autel EVO III is expected sometime in late October or early November, which again is noticeably earlier than the announcement of DJI Mavic 3. In general, all the most interesting things are ahead!
