Cetus X is a new addition to the Cetus series from BetaFPV. It has the same bow as its predecessors, however it is more powerful and larger (diagonal frame size 9.5 cm). Who is it for? Everything is also for beginners who want to be sure that their quad is strong despite the excess power.
Key features
The weight of the device without battery is 55 grams. Flight controller F4 1S 12A FC V2.2 (ELRS 2.4G), Betaflight firmware, ESC 4 in 1 on 12A BLheli_S. Access to the settings is carried out through an adapter to the microUSB connector. The PC can optionally include radio receivers such as: Frsky D8 or ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz. The power plant consists of four 1103 11000KV brushless motors that can be replaced without soldering, which work in tandem with 4‑blade Gemfan 2020 propellers.
FPV and Food
The FPV camera is presented as a BetaFPV C4 (actually a Caddx Nano Ant or Runcam Nano 4) working in tandem with a 25/200/400mW analog 5.8GHz VTX. The camera angle is adjustable from 0 to 40°. Recommended power supply: 2 × BetaFPV 1S 450mAh 30C with BT2.0 connector. The developer notes that the autonomy of Cetus X is the classic ± 5 minutes, and the PA12 nylon frame will provide exponential impact resistance.
