2S Addition to the Cetus Series

Made stronger and stronger

Cetus X is a new addi­tion to the Cetus series from BetaF­PV. It has the same bow as its pre­de­ces­sors, how­ev­er it is more pow­er­ful and larg­er (diag­o­nal frame size 9.5 cm). Who is it for? Every­thing is also for begin­ners who want to be sure that their quad is strong despite the excess pow­er.

Key features

The weight of the device with­out bat­tery is 55 grams. Flight con­troller F4 1S 12A FC V2.2 (ELRS 2.4G), Betaflight firmware, ESC 4 in 1 on 12A BLheli_S. Access to the set­tings is car­ried out through an adapter to the microUSB con­nec­tor. The PC can option­al­ly include radio receivers such as: Frsky D8 or ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz. The pow­er plant con­sists of four 1103 11000KV brush­less motors that can be replaced with­out sol­der­ing, which work in tan­dem with 4‑blade Gem­fan 2020 pro­pellers.

FPV and Food

The FPV cam­era is pre­sent­ed as a BetaF­PV C4 (actu­al­ly a Cad­dx Nano Ant or Run­cam Nano 4) work­ing in tan­dem with a 25/200/400mW ana­log 5.8GHz VTX. The cam­era angle is adjustable from 0 to 40°. Rec­om­mend­ed pow­er sup­ply: 2 × BetaF­PV 1S 450mAh 30C with BT2.0 con­nec­tor. The devel­op­er notes that the auton­o­my of Cetus X is the clas­sic ± 5 min­utes, and the PA12 nylon frame will pro­vide expo­nen­tial impact resis­tance.
