Dismantling Moskvich 427 and 433 difference between models

Moskvich 433 has already been dismantled. Since there is another model in my collection, I decided to compare them, to show what is the difference between the two models. Disassembling two cars is easy. We unscrew the bolt and take out all the parts of the machine.

The photo clearly shows the difference between the two models. The engine compartment contains a different configuration. The car body and white plastic interior are also different. This is understandable since Moskvich 433 is cargo, and 427 is passenger. There is a difference in the bottom of the car, but this is already a factory revision. All other parts of the car are the same.

In the process of assembling, I swapped the rear bumper. From model 427, rearranged to 433. The appearance has not changed, it has taken its place as if it was standing there.

These models only open the hoods. All other doors are closed by the manufacturer of the Saratov plant. In terms of format and overall size, they are similar, but did not change because of the different paint colors. But there’s no point in doing it.

The difference between these cars is: interior, front grille, body and engine. Everything else is the same.

Synchronized assembly of Moskvich 427 and 433

Collecting two models is not difficult. We put the body on the roof and put the glass in place.

After we installed the transparent plastic, we put the interior of the car in place.

Next install the rear bumper. Plastic latches are fixed and the bumper does not move. To remove the rear bumper, gently squeeze the plastic with tweezers and pull out the bumper.

Install the hood together with the front bumper. When installing the hood, the metal loop must be hooked onto the hook.

The models are almost assembled, we put the bottom of the cars in place and tighten them with bolts. This completes the assembly of Muscovites.

History of two cars

Two Muscovites were purchased at different times, but in the same city of Saratov and in the same store. The approximate year of purchase is 1989 – 1989, and a year later my parents bought the Moskvich 427 model. Both cars are in the original color, in good condition. Moskvich 433 was painted interior, but decided to erase the paint and leave the original look.
