The new Matrice 300 RTK drone and the Zenmuse H20 series of cameras take the capabilities of aircraft to a new level, marking the development of artificial intelligence and work automation.
May 7, 2020 – DJI has unveiled its most advanced commercial flight platform, the Matrice 300 RTK (M300 RTK) and the Zenmuse H20 series of hybrid multi-sensor cameras. In doing so, the company has created an all-in-one high-tech solution that expands the application of technology to new areas that require accurate aerial visibility and data collection.

DJI Matrice 300 RTK – the new standard in the commercial drone industry
The M300 RTK is the very first DJI drone to feature state-of-the-art piloting capabilities, advanced AI features, 6-way obstacle detection and positioning system, device health management system, and a flight time of up to 55 minutes. In addition to the AES-256 encryption algorithm and IP45 housing protection, the flight platform features an innovative built-in OcuSync Enterprise system that provides three-channel 1080p video transmission at a distance of up to 15 km. Exceptional versatility is a key feature of the M300 RTK as it supports up to 3 payloads at the same time. The maximum load capacity is 2.7 kg.

Enhanced Intelligence for More Efficient Data Collection
Combined with the M300 RTK and the Zenmuse H20 series cameras provide users with two intelligent ways to collect data.
Smart Pin & Track : Intelligent features that improve the synchronization of flight platforms when performing coordinated tasks. The PinPoint feature allows users to mark an object of interest and share its location with a co-operator and on-site teams using the DJI FlightHub platform. The Smart Track function (intelligent following) provides the ability to automatically identify and track moving objects even from a very long distance, dynamic synchronization of the location of the object is carried out in real time.
Intelligent Inspection: A new set of features designed to optimize routine data collection operations such as power lines, railways and oil and gas installations. The process includes real-time recording capability to record operation patterns and AI-Spot Check to ensure data is collected from the same position every time, greatly improving the accuracy of automated tasks. After saving a photo of sample tasks for inspection by points, operators can mark objects of interest to them. During the subsequent automatic tasks in the air, AI algorithms compare the marked objects with the data of the current view, adapting the camera orientation to achieve accurate and uniform results. Waypoints 2.0 is an improved task scheduling system that allows you to set up to 65,535 waypoints and supports a series of sequential actions, installation of third-party devices, etc.
Data at the professional aviation level
Like modern pilots, the M300 RTK drone is equipped with a flight data display that simultaneously displays flight and navigation information in real time. In addition to standard flight telemetry, such as altitude and speed, the system provides information about nearby obstacles, allowing pilots to adjust the trajectory as needed. These improvements make it easier to track an aircraft by giving pilots a better understanding of the situation.
Powerful tool at your disposal
New to DJI’s commercial flight platforms and exclusive to the M300 RTK, Advanced Dual Operator Mode features multi-pilot control protocols that improve safety, reliability, and operational flexibility. When coordinating the M300 RTK with two pilots, each operator is given the same access to flight control, and the transfer of access functions corresponds to a series of icons on the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise. If one pilot experiences difficulties, or one of the remotes runs out of battery or connection is interrupted, the co-pilot takes full control of the M300 RTK drone and its sensors. In addition, when training new pilots, the instructor/chief pilot can easily take control if needed.

Zenmuse H20 Series – All the sensors you need in one device
To fully live up to the standards set by the M300 RTK, DJI has introduced a series of brand new cameras that can radically improve mission performance. The Zenmuse H20 Series is DJI’s first hybrid sensor-based solution for multi-imaging applications in industrial and public safety applications where optimal response time and immediate access to multiple views are critical. Devices of the H20 series are distinguished by the degree of protection IP44 – the case is protected from water splashes from any direction.
The H20 series is available in two models: H20 is a tri-sensor platform with a 20 MP camera with 23x hybrid optical zoom, a 12 MP wide-angle camera and a laser rangefinder with a range of 3-1200 m. of the above devices is also equipped with a 640×512 pixel radiometric thermal camera, allowing operators to see what the human eye cannot see with its high temperature sensitivity and 30 fps video.
Easy-to-use integrated user interface
In order for pilots to be able to control so many sensors at the same time, the interface of the DJI Pilot app had to be completely adapted. Now you can quickly switch between cameras with just a few clicks. The zooming process is simplified, the zoom angle is displayed at the top of the viewport of the image from the wide-angle lens camera and the thermal camera.
