Since the release of the first version of the DJI Mavic, DJI has offered 2 types of quadcopters to choose from: a regular kit and a Fly More kit. Let’s talk about the difference between the kits.

I must say right away that there are no differences between the quadcopters themselves in our case Mavic Mini, the difference is in the set of additional accessories.

The same quadcopter, but has different configurations. Which to choose?

So in order:

  1. The battery in the basic set comes with only 1, it is usually located inside the drone itself.
And in the Fly More Combo kit (sometimes they write FMC) there are already 3 batteries, the one in the drone and 2 additional ones.
  2. The Mavic Mini Charging Hub can be used to charge 3 batteries in series or as a PowerBank to charge a smartphone or tablet, for example.
  3. The 360 degree propeller guard is only included with the Fly More kit. The protection allows you to fly indoors and is highly recommended for beginners.
  4. The charger is only included in the Fly More package. For the basic kit, you need to purchase or use your own charger. We recommend buying a powerful charger for example 18W.
  5. DJI propellers are always sold in pairs (one left-hand rotation propeller, one right-hand rotation propeller). It is important to put them each in its place. The basic set contains only 1 pair of spare props, while the Fly More set already has 3 pairs.
