The Updated DJI Air 2S Drone Goes on Sale on April 15

DJI equipped the Air 2S with a 20MP cam­era sen­sor. This sen­sor also sup­ports 10-bit col­or, “Intel­li­gent HDR” and can be used for cam­era modes such as hyper-lapse and panora­ma.

The new cam­era adds 30 grams to the Air 2S com­pared to the Mav­ic Air 2, bring­ing the for­mer to around 595g. The new drone should also sup­port Active­Track 4.0, Ocu­Sync 3.0, and FPV Gog­gles V2. Inci­den­tal­ly, the Air 2S has a redesigned remote con­trol, although the body is exact­ly the same as the old Mav­ic Air 2.

The DJI Air 2S will retail for $1,299 and is expect­ed to launch on April 15th.
