Report From the 10th Anniversary of DJI and the Presentation in Ukraine of the Quadrocopter DJI Mavic Pro MOYO

When the host of the event brought the Mav­ic Pro onto the stage, no one could help but sigh in sur­prise and ten­der­ness — this fold­able quad­copter is the best that can be imag­ined for fans of extreme film­ing and trav­el. No more car­ry­ing cas­es — when fold­ed, this baby fits into a men’s jack­et pock­et and a small ladies’ back­pack.

With its com­pact­ness, the new drone fea­tures high qual­i­ty video record­ing — 4K, as well as lit­er­al­ly fly­ing speed — up to 64 km/h in sport mode. On the ter­ri­to­ry of the NSC Olympiyskiy, where the event was held, Mav­ic Pro raced the fastest, even the super-cool Phan­tom 4 seemed too big and not maneu­ver­able enough next to it.

Although com­pact­ness comes at a price, and in this case it is the sta­bi­liza­tion sys­tem — expe­ri­enced users say that it is a lit­tle weak­er here than in the Phan­tom 4 or Inspire. Oth­er­wise, the new drone received all the fea­tures of old­er mod­els — the Active Track track­ing func­tion, the abil­i­ty to set a route with one tap on the screen — TapFly, the abil­i­ty to fly around obsta­cles, focus­ing on sonar read­ings, and many oth­ers.

The Fly Tech­nol­o­gy experts them­selves suc­cess­ful­ly called the new drone “an action cam­era among quadro­copters”, clear­ly defin­ing the niche of poten­tial buy­ers — trav­el­ers, extreme sports­men, lovers of out­door activ­i­ties and con­stant video film­ing.
