When the host of the event brought the Mavic Pro onto the stage, no one could help but sigh in surprise and tenderness — this foldable quadcopter is the best that can be imagined for fans of extreme filming and travel. No more carrying cases — when folded, this baby fits into a men’s jacket pocket and a small ladies’ backpack.
With its compactness, the new drone features high quality video recording — 4K, as well as literally flying speed — up to 64 km/h in sport mode. On the territory of the NSC Olympiyskiy, where the event was held, Mavic Pro raced the fastest, even the super-cool Phantom 4 seemed too big and not maneuverable enough next to it.
Although compactness comes at a price, and in this case it is the stabilization system — experienced users say that it is a little weaker here than in the Phantom 4 or Inspire. Otherwise, the new drone received all the features of older models — the Active Track tracking function, the ability to set a route with one tap on the screen — TapFly, the ability to fly around obstacles, focusing on sonar readings, and many others.
The Fly Technology experts themselves successfully called the new drone “an action camera among quadrocopters”, clearly defining the niche of potential buyers — travelers, extreme sportsmen, lovers of outdoor activities and constant video filming.
In general, even before the end of the presentation, we completely and irrevocably fell in love with the new Mavic Pro drone and hope to make a full review of it soon. So subscribe to our Youtube channel, where all our reviews are published, and in just a few days our video report on the DJI presentation, which was filmed by our tireless team, will appear.
