PhoneQuad Photo Drone Opens Up a New World of Selfies

The scope of fly­ing drones is con­stant­ly expand­ing. They become human assis­tants in dif­fer­ent sit­u­a­tions. Amer­i­can start­up LeshTron­ix Drone Sys­tems has pro­posed an effec­tive fly­ing replace­ment for the once pop­u­lar self­ie stick. Myphonequad fold­able drone allows you to take pho­tos and videos while hov­er­ing steadi­ly in the air while hold­ing your smart­phone.

The man­u­fac­tur­er claims that the pho­to drone can be con­trolled via a head­set via Blue­tooth using pro­pri­etary voice recog­ni­tion soft­ware. You can posi­tion your device at the desired lev­el or back­ground, and use voice com­mands to zoom in, start and stop videos, make calls, or take pho­tos.

The dimen­sions of the drone when fold­ed are approx­i­mate­ly: 148x96x42 mm.

The cost of the nov­el­ty is still unknown, the man­u­fac­tur­er will soon launch its crowd­fund­ing cam­paign to sup­port pro­duc­tion.
