DJI Matrice 300 RTK. New Solutions for Photogrammetry and Geodesy

DJI Matrice 300 RTK. New solutions for photogrammetry and geodesy
Zenmuse P1 and L1DJI introduces two new industrial gimbals for the Matrice 300 RTK flight platform. Suspended modules turn an industrial drone into a powerful complex for building terrain maps, modeling objects and terrain, including in real time.

Zenmuse P1: photogrammetry camera

The three-axis gimbal Zenmuse P1 has a camera with a full-frame sensor and the ability to install interchangeable lenses with a fixed focal length. The device is designed specifically for photogrammetry tasks and raises the accuracy and efficiency of missions to a new level.

Zenmuse P1

Key Features

Unprecedented Efficiency

The P1 has a full-frame sensor that delivers superb detail with minimal noise. The camera takes a picture every 0.7 seconds and covers an area of 3 km² in one flight.

High accuracy

The camera is equipped with a mechanical shutter and a brand new TimeSync 2.0 system that synchronizes data from all drone modules with microsecond precision. Centimetric accuracy of model building is provided using real-time positioning and spatial position compensation.

mapping

Versatility and reliability

Create 2D maps and 3D models with 24/35/50mm lenses and Smart Oblique Capture, DJI’s proprietary 3-axis stabilization technology ensures you get great results from mission to mission, no matter the environment.

Photogrammetry

Smart Oblique Capture

Cover up to 7.5 km² in a day with the P1. Smart Oblique Capture is designed to enhance your mapping and photogrammetry tasks. The gimbal automatically positions the camera at different angles, thus increasing the efficiency of post-image processing by 20 to 50% depending on the conditions.

smart data management

The entire set of data on the execution of tasks is at your disposal:

    • • Mission results files are automatically associated with the name and time of the mission;
    • • Centralized storage available for photos, GNSS data and TimeStamps.MRK files;
    • • Image metadata includes survey parameters, camera settings information, and RTK status.

Work progress reports

Analyze information about the quality of work performed immediately. You have access to data on the number of shots taken, RTK status and positioning accuracy.

Fulfillment of industrial missions

Available accessories

There are 3 original lenses available for the P1 gimbal:

    • • DJI DL 24mm F2.8 LS ASPH (with hood and balance ring/filter), FOV 84°
    • • DJI DL 35mm F2.8 LS ASPH (with hood and balance ring/filter), FOV 63.5°
    • • DJI DL 50mm F2.8 LS ASPH (with hood and balance ring/filter), FOV 46.8°

Zenmuse L1: Lidar + RGB camera for geodesy

The Zenmuse L1 gimbal combines Livox lidar, a high-precision IMU module, and a 1″ CMOS RGB camera mounted on a high-quality 3-axis gimbal. When you install the device on the Matrice 300 RTK, you get a turnkey solution for collecting data throughout the day with real-time 3D model building, effectively examining the fine details of complex objects, and creating accurate terrain models.

Zenmuse L1

Key Features

High efficiency

L1 allows you to generate real-time models from a point cloud with true colors, in one flight the drone is able to cover an area of 2 km². For data collection, a Livox lidar with a viewing angle of 70 ° and an RGB camera that shoots in the visible range are used.

centimeter accuracy

In order to ensure that the accuracy of the model meets the highest expectations of the customer, a proprietary high-precision IMU module is used, and the data received from the optical sensor and satellite navigation systems are analyzed and compared in real time.

Building a 3D model of an object

Ready to work in any conditions

Protection class IP44 makes it possible to perform tasks in rainy weather and in dense fog. The principle of operation of the lidar allows you to work not only during the day, but also at night.

Work in the dark

Building a point cloud in real time

The point cloud is compiled and visualized in real time, allowing the operator to make important decisions during the flight. After completing the mission, you will have access to a prompt report on the quality of the built model.

Measurements and annotations

Use standard tools to specify and visualize the main dimensions on the created model.

Fast post-processing

The DJI Terra software uses data from the IMU and satellite positioning systems and information received in the visible range to calculate POS data and point cloud calculations. You can easily create a model of the terrain and objects with a report on the accuracy of construction.

Post-processing in the field

Time to market for new devices

The Zenmuse P1 photogrammetry camera will be available for order from March 2021, and the Zenmuse L1 RGB lidar camera from January 2021. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about new products!
