Of its neg­a­tive sides, one can note the lack of the abil­i­ty to shoot video in HDR, but you can take pho­tos using this tech­nol­o­gy (the fig­ure will be 13 EV).

The Mav­ic 2 Zoom quad­copter was released with a 1/2.3‑inch sen­sor. Do not be dis­ap­point­ed about the mod­el’s weak zoom, because the focal length of its lens, which is equal to 24 mm, as well as 48 mm, will make you close your eyes to this minor flaw.

Sensor in 1 inch Hasselblad camera

The cam­era shoots at 20 megapix­els — excel­lent. This would not have been pos­si­ble if Has­sel­blad had not agreed to coop­er­ate. Based on the above spec­i­fi­ca­tions, the quad­copter con­nects to 4K HLG. There is no need to process what the cam­era shoots, as it can elim­i­nate unwant­ed con­trasts that occur in cer­tain areas and “over­ex­po­sure”.

HDR photography: there is no limit to perfection

Mav­ic 2 Pro, due to the pres­ence of 14 stops (the Zoom option has 13), shoots sharp­er images. It also sur­pass­es its com­peti­tor in terms of col­or range. But in gen­er­al, the two mod­els will eas­i­ly cap­ture the nec­es­sary, despite the fact that some areas of the pho­to at spe­cif­ic moments will not be ful­ly sus­tained. These zones are restored by pro­cess­ing, after which more details will be revealed.
