It’s a mat­ter of res­o­lu­tion. The stan­dard shoot­ing res­o­lu­tion is 1920×1080 (1080p). This res­o­lu­tion is great if you want to post a video to a social net­work.

If you need detailed video record­ing or plan to fur­ther process the record­ing with a pro­fes­sion­al video edi­tor, then 3840×2160 (4K) res­o­lu­tion is more suit­able for you. If we talk about movies, then the frame rate is 24 frames per sec­ond. This frame rate is called Cin­e­mat­ic Look.

If we talk about the fre­quen­cy of 30 frames per sec­ond, then in this case you can get a more excit­ing video. It is with this frame rate that mod­ern iPhones shoot.

If you want to show even more details while mov­ing, then use the Slow Motion fea­ture. This fea­ture allows you to shoot movies at 60 frames per sec­ond. The stan­dard shut­ter speed of 30 frames per sec­ond is 1/60. With this para­me­ter, the video may not be very clear, but it is more like the per­cep­tion of move­ment by our eyes.

If you want to shoot a styl­ish and beau­ti­ful video, then you should pay atten­tion to the white bal­ance, which you will find in the advanced set­tings.

Osmo Pock­et’s default white bal­ance is set to WB 6000. If you pre­fer warm tones, increase the val­ue. If you like cold tones, then just low­er the indi­ca­tor.
