Hello. The long-awaited case for DJI Phantom 3 SE has arrived (suitable for all 3 series). Of course, you could take a nylon backpack for 40-60 greens, but it would not look as solid as this aluminum suitcase. By the way, I expected that it would be smaller in size (it is somewhere the same width and height with a box from DJI, but almost 2 times longer). The box was even larger than the suitcase itself, weighing about 6.5kg with packaging. By the way, the first time they sent it to me, the Chinese customs returned the parcel back because of the size (I took a few more items in one order), the second time they sent only the case and everything came quickly and without problems. It’s clear that you can’t carry such a case along the street – it’s overweight and huge in size, but to carry it in the car itself, the case is durable, you can safely throw it under the bottom, and load more things on top.
So, here he is handsome. Width 24 cm, length 60 cm, height 36 cm, weight 5.3 kg.
The case closes with latches along the edges, by the way, there should be more keys here. But most likely, after inspection at customs, they disappeared somewhere, or the seller forgot. I don’t need them, I just saw in the picture that they should be at all.
The corners are fastened with metal corners. The frame itself is made of metal, the walls are made of something similar to plastic coated with aluminum, or just aluminum.
The handle is made of plastic, the fastening of the handle to the case also seems to be like plastic. For this minus the manufacturer, not a reliable design. But the handle is warm and has a leather insert at the bottom so as not to cut your fingers.
Bottom plastic legs. Lid on fasteners, fasteners on metal rivets, there are brackets to keep the lid upright when opened.
In the open form, as I said, the lid is held by staples.
What’s inside. On top of the cover is foam rubber with notches. The very base is made of polyethylene foam. Lots of different holes. There are 3 cutouts for batteries, one more can be left in the copter, another 1 is universal: either for the battery or for small things. There is a cutout for screws, charger, cables. There is even a FPV screen, or a monitor/phone.

As a gift, the seller put a branded remote control strap. I wanted to order one separately (on the neck so that the remote control hangs, it’s convenient when you have a tablet on it, but you need to fix something on the copter), it costs $ 14, and here is such a halva.
Everything is cut out neatly, if you have a different model, then you can cut it with a clerical knife.
The foam can be removed from the inside, it is glued to a thin tape of double-sided tape. Latch mechanism. Everything is solid metal. The key was lost somewhere, or it was not there at all.

Conclusion
I am satisfied with the suitcase, although I expected it to be a little more compact. The price is huge, but this is due to the cost of delivery (after all, 5.3kg and the dimensions are not small). If you want to carry DJI on your back, then a nylon backpack is a great option. This case is for transportation in a car, it protects DJI well.
