Aluminum Case for DJI Phantom 3 SE (For All 3 Series)

Hel­lo. The long-await­ed case for DJI Phan­tom 3 SE has arrived (suit­able for all 3 series). Of course, you could take a nylon back­pack for 40–60 greens, but it would not look as sol­id as this alu­minum suit­case. By the way, I expect­ed that it would be small­er in size (it is some­where the same width and height with a box from DJI, but almost 2 times longer). The box was even larg­er than the suit­case itself, weigh­ing about 6.5kg with pack­ag­ing. By the way, the first time they sent it to me, the Chi­nese cus­toms returned the par­cel back because of the size (I took a few more items in one order), the sec­ond time they sent only the case and every­thing came quick­ly and with­out prob­lems. It’s clear that you can’t car­ry such a case along the street — it’s over­weight and huge in size, but to car­ry it in the car itself, the case is durable, you can safe­ly throw it under the bot­tom, and load more things on top.

The case clos­es with latch­es along the edges, by the way, there should be more keys here. But most like­ly, after inspec­tion at cus­toms, they dis­ap­peared some­where, or the sell­er for­got. I don’t need them, I just saw in the pic­ture that they should be at all.

The cor­ners are fas­tened with met­al cor­ners. The frame itself is made of met­al, the walls are made of some­thing sim­i­lar to plas­tic coat­ed with alu­minum, or just alu­minum.

The han­dle is made of plas­tic, the fas­ten­ing of the han­dle to the case also seems to be like plas­tic. For this minus the man­u­fac­tur­er, not a reli­able design. But the han­dle is warm and has a leather insert at the bot­tom so as not to cut your fin­gers.

Conclusion

I am sat­is­fied with the suit­case, although I expect­ed it to be a lit­tle more com­pact. The price is huge, but this is due to the cost of deliv­ery (after all, 5.3kg and the dimen­sions are not small). If you want to car­ry DJI on your back, then a nylon back­pack is a great option.
