Sky-Hero Loki MK2 System US
Recently, the Belgian manufacturer Sky-Hero announced a modified version of its tactical drone, designed specifically for the US Special Forces.
Sky-Hero Loki MK2 System US (US version; built on key components from NATO countries) is a special-purpose mini drone designed to work in confined spaces, able to fly and see in total darkness. The developer claims the LOKI Mk2 US is the world’s first indoor tactical drone to comply with US National Defense Authority (NDAA) regulations. Proven in practice by thousands of deployments by tactical groups in many parts of the world.
Key Features
A special version of the LOKI Mk2 US drone is built exclusively on NATO-made components. Designed for tactical reconnaissance in enclosed spaces. It is equipped with a highly sensitive IR camera working in tandem with a Day-Night type sensor recognition and obstacle avoidance system, which allows it to fly and see in complete darkness, and complex algorithms using computer vision provide the aircraft with the ability to maintain a position like in GPS mode.
The LOKI Mk2US design supports rapid deployment, allowing for both hand-held take-offs and operator-assisted precision landings. It is optimized for several indoor operations with intelligent modes including “Floor” and “Turtle”.
