Updated TX12

The Radiomaster TX12 (or Jumper T12) is a multifunctional control equipment that is very popular in the hobby. In the list of key features of this model, users highlight small / optimal dimensions (it is slightly smaller than standard consoles) and an expansion compartment for greater compatibility.

As is often the case, thanks to the universal recognition of the product, the developer decided to refine the radio control and a year later presented the community with a new version of the Radiomaster TX12 Mark II. Its dimensions and weight remained unchanged and are: 170 × 159 × 108 mm; 363 grams. The design was also not affected, in the arsenal is the same built-in monochrome LCD display 128 × 64 pixels. Available in two versions: ELRS/CC2500.

What’s new?

The built-in radio at the time of purchase is a CC2500 for FrSky or ExpressLRS 2.4GHz compatibility. If that’s not enough for you, the back compartment, like the previous model, allows you to add a plug-in module to support other protocols such as TBS Crossfire. A more powerful STM32F407 processor has been added, the hardware is flashed with the EdgeTX operating system, which has more recent updates than OpenTX (also compatible). And that is not all!

For greater precision in piloting, the gimbals are built on Hall sensors with in-place adjustment (Min. 38°, Max. 54°). The radio control is powered by a 2S source: two 18650 2500 mAh batteries or 2S Lipo. The battery can be charged without the need to remove it, via a USB-C cable, using a QC3.0 fast charger. Another USB-C connector allows you to use radio control with FPV simulators. By the way, the app in the ExpressLRS version in terms of interaction with simulators and games received a little more functionality thanks to the built-in Bluetooth module, which allows you to connect to PCs, tablets and phones with Bluetooth function over the air. Also, among other improvements: the geometry of the side sliders and handles on the back of the radio has been improved.
