The development of commercial aircraft is now at a rapid pace. Modern drones are used for reconnaissance, fire monitoring, cartography and help for missing people. Autel Robotics has unveiled its new flagship EVO Max 4T at CES2023. This is a large quadcopter with 40 minutes of flight time, a 50 MP camera, and the ability to work in a group (including as a signal repeater for others).

The Max 4T model has a flight weight of 1.6 kg (maximum 2 kg), an altitude ceiling of 7 km and a maximum level flight speed of up to 82 km/h. The body of the aircraft has protection against water according to the IP43 standard. The model is oriented in space using a satellite module (GPS + Galileo + BeiDou + GLONASS), as well as a system of numerous sensors and a millimeter-wave radar.

Communication range with the device: 20 km in FCC mode and 8 km in CE.
The drone has a multi-chamber unit placed on a mechanical three-axis suspension. The unit includes a wide-angle camera with a 50 MP sensor, an 8K zoom sensor of 48 MP, a thermal imager with a resolution of 640 * 512 and an accurate laser rangefinder with a measurement limit of 1.2 km.

The EVO Max 4T model can work in conjunction with other similar drones thanks to the proprietary A-Mesh 1.0 technology, with which drones transmit data to each other in flight and can relay the base station signal. This will allow to increase the range of work and take advantage of the fleet of aircraft.

The model was only shown at the exhibition of electronic technologies CES’23 in Las Vegas (January 5-8), the cost and the start of sales have not yet been reported.
